I want to SEE

I have been spending the last week reading sections of Psalm 119. Today I keyed in on a phrase from a well known Hymn. "Open my eyes that I may see" The hymn continues, "glimpses of truth thou has for me. Place in my hand the wonderful key, that shall unclasp and set me free." The Psalmist then shows a desire to know God's commands. "You statutes are my delight; they are my counselors" 119: 24.

Lord, give me a passion for your statutes, a thirst for your laws. By reading and consuming Your scripture, let me know you more. I need to know you. I need you to be with me to guide me and strengthen me. Open my eyes. Set me free.

I'm Back.... Maybe.

My plans are to at some point try to get this thing up and going again. I seem to waste time doing a whole lot of stuff but think putting some time into this may help keep me focused. I don't know if anyone else will ever read it beside me, myself, and I. Maybe my mother or wife will. I don't know.

I will try to write on here like I have in the past, just thought I have compiled through my reading of scripture.
